This is Hong Kong Travel Itinerary Day 3 for my Hong Kong Trip in 2017. Watch my Hong Kong Day 3 One Day in Hong Kong Disneyland Vlog below:
Hong Kong DAY 3: One Day in Hong Kong Disneyland
If you read my Hong Kong Day 2, you know we switched over Day 2 and Day 3 plan. So on Day 3, we went to one of the most magical and happiest place on earth – Hong Kong Disneyland! YAY! Hong Kong Disneyland was the most enjoyable day we had for our whole Hong Kong trip. I went to Hong Kong Disneyland 4 years ago and I came back 4 years later, they added Tomorrowland and Mystic Manor to the theme park.
How much does it cost?
So if you go to Hong Kong Disneyland Website here, you can see all sort of information you need, including ticket prices, show time, dining, any special event going on and so forth.
So there’s an ONE DAY PACKAGE and TWO DAY PACKAGE (Note: these costs were taken on May 2018, it may subject to change).
Adult: 1 Day Package – HKD619 / 2 Day Package – HKD689
Children (3-11 years): 1 Day Package – HDK 458 / 2 Day Package – HKD 508
So apparently 2 days package is way more worth it compared to one day package. If you have enough time to spare in Hong Kong, definitely try the 2-day package, highly recommend it for families with children.
I feel like the Hong Kong Disneyland is more curated for Children, they don’t have a lot of rides for adults. Since we were two adults and we don’t play most of the rides in the Hong Kong Disneyland, so we bought the 1-day package and only spent One Day in Hong Kong Disneyland.
You can buy the ticket online on their website, on your travel agency or at your hotel reception.
How to Get there?
- So you can take the MTR to Hong Kong Disneyland, they do have a special route and Disney Train if you want to experience that. It is also way cheaper that way if you’re on a budget. But it takes longer (at least one hour, depends on where you are) to reach Hong Kong Disneyland.
- Check with your hotel reception, some hotels provide free shuttle rides to Hong Kong Disneyland, or some provide paid ride.
- Take the taxi. That’s what we did because we wanted to save time. It is the fastest way to get to Hong Kong Disneyland (less than 30 mins). But it’s pretty expensive, cost us about HKD250.
PLAZA INN, MAIN STREET USA
HONG KONG DISNEYLAND
This restaurant theme is inspired by Disneyland movie MULAN. The restaurant serves Cantonese cuisine and dim sum. We were hungry and craving for some Cantonese food so we chose this restaurant.
Honestly, I find theme park restaurants are most likely, NOT GOOD and they are so freaking expensive. So we always bring our own food, hide it in our bags and stuff or just eat before visiting. After trying this restaurant, it’s really NOT worth it to eat in the theme park UNLESS you really have no choice (running out of time, way too hungry and all that jazz). So try to avoid theme park food at all cost.
This meal, I can’t actually remember how much it cost, but it’s really expensive and the food wasn’t even good. Seriously.
While most rides are, you know for kids. I did enjoy the Iron Man ride and the Star War Mountain Space Ride was really cool. They are the must try!
IRON MAN RIDE
SPACE MOUNTAIN RIDE
I feel like fantasy land is the most crowded park in Hong Kong Disneyland. It’s very beautiful and has a big food court there. My must-try would be the MAD HATTER TEA CUPS, “its a small world”, MICKEY’S PHILHARMAGIC, DUMBO THE FLYING ELEPHANT AND HONG KONG DISNEY RAILROAD (if you have time).
MAD HATTER TEACUPS
“ITS A SMALL WORLD”
THE MANY ADVENTURE OF WINNIE THE POOH
FAIRYTALE FOREST PRESENTED BY PANDORA
THIS IS A MUST MUST TRY!!
The only rides they have in this theme is Big Grizzly Mountain Runway Mine Cars. This is the best rides in the whole HONG KONG DISNEYLAND. The queue is crazy and I can’t believe we queued for 2-3 times for this ride because it’s so freaking good. MUST MUST TRY in HONG KONG DISNEYLAND!
This is a new theme in HONG KONG DISNEYLAND and it’s some pretty cool stuff in there. It’s not a crazy ride but the effect of the ride is really cool. And the QUEUE is very long too so yeah.
NIGHT VIEW IN HONG KONG DISNEYLAND
NOTE: We visited the whole theme park but didn’t get to take photos of the certain park, so please do watch my VLOG to see more visuals of HONG KONG DISNEYLAND.
So we left at 7.30pm, right before the fireworks. You can definitely stay for the fireworks of course. But we are not a “firework” person and we didn’t want to squeeze with the leaving crowd after the fireworks. You know, when everyone is leaving, like thousands of people leaving at once, it’s craziness and we’d rather give up the firework than to deal with that haha.
So we took the taxi back to Yau Ma Tei for our dinner.

Mak Man Kee Noodle Shop, Jordon
51 Parkes St, Jordan, Hong Kong
We had our mini dinner at Australian Milk Company and we discovered this little noodle shop just right next door. People were queueing up for this and we were curious, so we joined the queue and discovered one of the BEST beef brisket noodles ever! The place is really small and you might need to join table with strangers but it’s totally worth it. We actually came back here another day for a snack (lol), yes that’s how good it is.
So that ends our Hong Kong Travel Itinerary Day 3: One Day in Hong Kong Disneyland. To see more visuals of Hong Kong Disneyland, please do watch my vlog below and I hope you guys enjoy!
